What we collect

Account data (name, email, avatar) is managed by our authentication provider, Clerk. Workspace data — cases, sources, analyses, decisions, comments, policies, and audit events — is stored in Convex and belongs to your workspace. Usage records (operation counts, not content) support rate limiting and plan administration.

Content under review

Content you submit for review is, by nature, sensitive. It is stored privately, redacted at intake in the working copy, never written to application logs, and excluded from shared reports by default. When live AI analysis is enabled, source content is sent to the configured AI provider (OpenAI) solely to produce the analysis, and is never used to train any model.

What we do not do

We do not sell data, build advertising profiles, train models on your workspace content, report users to third parties, or scrape proprietary databases. NuanceDesk takes no enforcement action on any platform.

Retention and deletion

Workspace owners configure a retention period (7–3650 days). Deleting a case removes its sources, stored files, analyses, evidence, comments, and share links. Deleting a workspace removes everything it contains. Account deletion is available through your account settings and removes your profile from our systems; decisions you recorded remain attributed in workspace audit records where the workspace persists, as required for review accountability.

Sub-processors

Clerk (authentication), Convex (database, file storage, functions), Vercel (hosting), and — when live analysis is enabled by your workspace — OpenAI (AI analysis). Each operates under its own published terms.
